Thomas Sutter

Thomas Sutter was born in Johnson City, New York where he studied tap for many years at Danek School of Performing Arts. He travelled to Germany with Stacy Eastman to compete in IDO's World Tap Dance Championships, where he took home the gold medal at age 15. At the age of 17 he began training in modern dance at the Perkins School of the Arts. After graduating high school, Thomas was accepted into The Ailey School's Certificate Program, from which he attained a Certificate of Dance in May 2012. Upon graduation, Thomas became a member of Cats Paying Dues, a tap dance company under the direction of Andrew Nemr. He was invited twice to "Vegas Week" as a contestant on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance. Recent credits include White Christmas at the Westchester Broadway Theatre, The Burlesque Show at the Music Box in Atlantic City, and a touring work with Phoenix Project Dance, a modern company under the direction of Amber Perkins.
